Adult Reading Round Table - Genre study notes, annotated booklists, and more, from a group of Illinois librarians and library staff who are interested in promoting literature and reading for pleasure.
- All Readers - This is not the prettiest web site, but it does contain a lot of information, including ratings on the level of violence, bad language and sexual content in specific books.
- Book Browse - Current fiction and nonfiction by author, title, and genre. Also book discussion guides, best sellers, and “Favorite Book” award winners.
- Genre Fluent - Homepage of Diana Herald, author of Genreflecting. Hundreds of annotated titles, accessible by author and genre.
- Gnooks - Computer generated reading lists and read alikes. Check-out the fun "map of literature" feature.
- Library Booklists - Links to more than 1400 library booklists and read alike lists. Fiction and nonfiction included.
- Overbooked - Self proclaimed “web site for ravenous & omnivorous readers. Overbooked provides information about fiction and readable nonfiction.”
- Reader's Robot - A searchable database of reviews that “reveal appeal,” compiled by the staff of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District Library System in British Columbia, Canada.
