Spooky Sweet Family Storytime

Get spooky! Join us for an evening of Halloween fun as we celebrate all things spooky and sweet. There will be stories, crafts, games and more. Costumes are encouraged!

Basic ESL Conversation

A Project CARE tutor will lead students in discussion designed to strengthen English language conversation skills. Open enrollment - start any week. Registration is required by calling Project CARE at 708-656-8000 ext. 2383

Berwyn Rules Book Talk and Signing with Mike Shereck

October 28th, 2017, 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Mike Shereck, PCC, (Professional Certified Coach) is a thought leader, coach, barrier breaker, and a guy from Berwyn. In his first book, Berwyn Rules, Mike ties the lessons he learned growing up in his home town of Berwyn to the leadership issues encountered in today's businesses, communities, and organizations. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase at this event.

Rising Readers Storytime

For 5 and up.

Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45-60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

Little Learners Storytime

October 31st, 2017, 10:30am to 11:30am
For 3 to 5 year olds. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

Baby Bookworms Storytime

November 1st, 2017, 10:30am to 11:15am
0 - 19 months. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

Basic Technology Skills

November 1st, 2017, 10:30am to 12:00pm
Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Learn to use the smartphone or tablet you recently acquired. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products. Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

Arts and Crafts for Seniors

November 1st, 2017, 11:00am to 1:00pm
Please join us to create a different craft project each month. Feel free to bring a current project of your own to work on and share as well. We will create a harvest wreath from craft fall leaves. Drop in program, no registration required!
