Can You Afford to Retire?

March 25th, 2015, 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Jim Flanagan will help attendees evaluate their readiness for retirement with several self-evaluation exercises. Once the evaluations are complete, attendees will be introduced to the Ten Critical Questions, the ten questions that every retiree must answer before embarking on a successful retirement. Jim will then give an in-depth instruction on the nuances of Social Security: How benefits are calculated, when to file to maximize benefits, taxation of benefits, benefits while working, and benefits for spouses, divorced and widows.

Computer Tutoring

March 26th, 2015, 10:30am to 12:00pm
Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products.
Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others.
Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.
