Interview Workshop for Teens

Bob Shclacks has experience that includes working for over 20 years in Human Resources at AT&T in the Lisle –Naperville area, 11 years with Waubonsee Community College as the adult recruiter in the Admissions department, and has conducted adult workshops twice a month for over 15 years at the Illinois Worknet in North Aurora.

Bob Schlacks motto for teens looking for a job is: “Entry-level” does not mean “Unimportant!”

This workshop is specifically designed for high school students who are looking for their first summer job, after school job, or first fulltime entry-level job after graduation.
In this workshop he will go over the following:
-What to do before, during and after an interview to improve your chances
-The importance of appearance, punctuality, and non-verbal communication
-The 3 different kinds of interviews
-The most commonly asked teen interviewing questions
-Deciding factors when determining who will be hired
-Pre-Interview checklist
-Having the variables within your control working for you
