Small Wonders Storytime

June 14th, 2018, 10:30am to 11:30am
For 20-35 month olds. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

KCGB

June 14th, 2018, 11:00am to 1:00pm
The Knitting and Crochet Guild of Berwyn (KCGB) meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday and on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. Join us to practice your craft in a social setting or to learn a new skill!

Basic Technology Skills

June 14th, 2018, 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Learn to use the smartphone or tablet you recently acquired. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products. Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

Pride Button Making for Teens

In celebration of June being LGBTQ Pride month, the Berwyn Public Library is hosting a button making event! Stop by the Teen Room during the week of 6/11-6/15 from 2-5 pm to create buttons that represent your pride.

Chess Warriors

June 15th, 2018, 11:00am to 12:00pm
Ages 7-14.

Come learn the age old game of chess and play with other kids! No experience necessary. Game pieces provided. First come, first served for the first 16 children to arrive in the room at each session.

Family Fun!

Family bonding at it's finest! Work with your family on fun activities, from building, to art projects, to silly games. Snacks welcome.

Are you in middle school? Want something fun to do to beat the heat? Mix up some slime, get crafty, do trivia, play games, and more at your library!

Storytown: Improv for Kids!

June 18th, 2018, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Ages 7-14 years
Chicago base improv group Storytown is in the house! From superheroes to princesses to dinosaurs, Storytown takes you on an interactive, fully improvised adventure. The actors use audience suggestions and ideas to create a story. Kids design the setting and help shape the story. The actors, artists and musicians bring it to life. When the possibilities are endless, no two stories are ever the same!
