Imagination Station

Ages 2-5
Imagine, discover, and play! This fun, interactive, play-based program for preschoolers will inspire creative thinking, problem solving, and wonder for your little one. From dramatic play to science activities, we invite you to explore at your library.

Please register at 708.795.8000 ex 3088, on our website, or in person at the Youth Services desk. Sign up begins 30 days before event.

Little Learners Storytime

March 12th, 2018, 10:00am to 11:00am
For 3 to 5 year olds. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

Small Wonders Storytime

March 13th, 2018, 10:30am to 11:30am
For 20-35 month olds. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

Basic Technology Skills

March 14th, 2018, 10:30am to 12:00pm
Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Learn to use the smartphone or tablet you recently acquired. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products. Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

Basic Reading and Writing Group

March 15th, 2018, 10:00am to 11:30am
This class is taught by a Project CARE tutor and registration is required. Please call 708-656-8000 ext. 2383 to register and for more information. This free class will help you improve your reading skills, build vocabulary and strengthen your writing skills.

KCGB

The Knitting and Crochet Guild of Berwyn (KCGB) meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday and on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. Join us to practice your craft in a social setting or to learn a new skill!
