Baby Noise

Music is powerfully positive for little ones and their cognitive growth. We will guide you through simple, fun ways to use music for early learning. Ages 5 months through 2 years.

Please register by phone, on our website, or at the Youth Services desk to join the musical fun.

Love, Broadway Style

Please join us and enjoy singer Kym Frankovelgia for a fabulous trip down musical memory lane. Her show is a crowd pleaser and will musically pay tribute to love from every angle as is celebrated on the Broadway stage. Add in several very popular favorites from the movies and you will have an afternoon you won't easily forget. Sing along, dance a little, or, just sit back and listen, but know this... laughter and tears are practically guaranteed.

Computer Tutoring

Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products.
Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others.
Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

As part of Money Smart Week,Take Charge Illinois offers a financial workshop on budgeting. Learn how to prepare a monthly budget, comparison shop, cut expenses, and track & maintain a budget.

Essentials of Estate Planning

Essentials of Estate Planning covers the estate planning process from beginning to end. We will look closely at the need to plan, the most common planning techniques and the documents used in the planning process.

Lapsit Story Time (16-23 months)

April 24th, 2015, 10:00am to 10:30am
Story Time aims to introduce children to the world of books and reading with fun, interactive experiences in a safe environment. Sessions can run from 30 to 45 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays, playtime and a simple craft activity.

Please register at 708.795.8000 ex 3088, on our website, or in person at the Youth Services desk. Sign up begins 30 days before event. Enrollment registers you for the whole six week session. Holidays may interfere with some dates.

Open Baby Play

April 24th, 2015, 11:00am to 3:00pm
Play is an important part of all areas of development in a wee one. Give your baby the benefits of play in a social environment and network with other parents / caregivers in this relaxed, informal environment. For ages 5 months - 24 months; no registration required.
