The Assassination of John F. Kennedy

November 20th, 2014, 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Jim Gibbons will relook at this most tragic time in our nation’s history, November 22, 1963, the day President Kennedy was assassinated. If you were alive at that time you may remember where you were and what you were doing on that fateful day. If not, you will learn how everything came to a complete halt with just four words “The President is dead!” These were the words that riveted America. As soon as they were announced everything stopped and, for the next four days, the country was plunged into total mourning.
