Baby Noise

September 19th, 2015, 10:30am to 11:15am
Music is powerfully positive for little ones and their cognitive growth. We will guide you through simple, fun ways to use music for early learning. Ages 5 months through 24 months.

Please register by phone, on our website, or at the Youth Services desk to join the musical fun.

Computer Tutoring

September 22nd, 2015, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products.
Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others.
Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

Adult Writers Group

Have you always wanted to write? Join our supportive and friendly group of writers for inspiration and camaraderie. We're dedicated to finishing our projects, sharing tips for story ideas, making time to write and having fun. No experience necessary.

Lapsit Story Time (16-23 months)

September 25th, 2015, 10:00am to 10:45am
Story Time aims to introduce children to the world of books and reading with fun, interactive experiences in a safe environment. Sessions can run from 30 to 45 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays, playtime and a simple craft activity.

Registration is not required.

Open Baby Play

Play is an important part of all areas of development in a wee one. Give your baby the benefits of play in a social environment and network with other parents / caregivers in this relaxed, informal environment. For ages 5 months - 24 months; no registration required.

Shred-a-thon

September 25th, 2015, 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Do you have loads of old papers with personal information piling up at home? Don't know how to dispose of them safely? We have the perfect solution. Midway Moving and Storage will have an industrial shredder in the auxiliary parking lot across Riverside Drive. They will accept any and all papers which will be safely destroyed while you wait and then recycled, all at absolutely no cost to you! What should you bring?

Mo’ Beat Blues Show
