Saturday Matinee ("Mystery Men")

You've all heard people say "the book was better..." Find out for yourself! As we feature a different book-made-into-a-movie each month. Read the book. Watch the movie. Discuss both! And don't worry; we'll bring the popcorn!

Family Game Night

Join us for a family night of board games and puzzles. Every participant gets a free book at the end of the evening. This program is for families with children birth to 13.

Book Lover's Club

On the last Tuesday of odd numbered months the Book Lovers Club meets at Olive or Twist ( 6906 Windsor Ave, Berwyn) at 7pm. We don’t discuss one book, but lots of titles! Participants come each month to talk about what they have read and loved, then mingle and chat with other book lovers. This eclectic martini bar offers a refreshing backdrop to thoughtful literary conversations.

Club Mess Craft Club

Are you ready to make a mess ? Let go with Miss Marissa for this super cool arts and craft club. We’ll make a beautiful, craftastic mess!

Please register at 708.795.8000 ex 3088, on our website, or in person at the Youth Services desk. Sign up begins 30 days before event. Enrollment registers you for the whole six week session. Holidays may interfere with some dates.

Shred-a-Thon

Do you have loads of old papers with personal information piling up at home?  Don't know how to dispose of them safely?  We have the perfect solution.  Midway Moving and Storage will have an industrial shredder in the far parking lot. They will accept any and all papers which will be safely destroyed while you wait and then recycled, all at absolutely no cost to you!

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING ?
Any documents that you no longer need or want, but that might contain personal or private information.
Examples include:
Bank statements
Outdated medical records

Big Hero 6

Beat the heat and come in for our weekly summer movies! We celebrate the summer reading program's theme Every Hero Has A Story with our variety of film choices.
