Income Tax Filing Preparation

Stop in and ask at the Reference Desk -- your librarians will help you print your income tax forms, and may even provide a free copy of a requested form.

 

Voter Information

Are you 18 years old or more, a legal U.S. resident living in Suburan Cook County, and want to vote - but you're not registered?  The library has people on staff who can register you to vote, and it only takes a few minutes.

 

  • Cook County Clerk - Chief election authority for Suburban Cook County.  Verify your voter registration, find your polling place, see your sample ballot (when available), see a list of your elected officials and their contact information, or check your absentee ballot status.
  • Better Government Association - Non-partisan organization that fights waste, fraud and corruption in city, county, suburban and state government.
  • Fact Check -  Non-partisan, non-profit “consumer advocate’ for voters.  The site monitors the factual accuracy of public statements made by major U.S. politicians.
  • Illinois League of Woman Voters - Non-partisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and increased understanding of major public policy issues.
  • State of Illinois Election Board - Find your voter information including how to register to vote, where to register and  includes information on the candidates.
  • District Locator - Find out who the candidates are from your district.  Gives voters the ability to search for information by district, office or address.
