Representatives from The Goodwill Workforce Connection Center will be onsite conducting one-on-one consultations to give you personalized feedback on your resume and cover letters. You will have the opportunity to learn how to craft a solid and effective resume or improve upon your existing resumes with tips and advice from experienced resume consultants. Note: Please bring a list of current and previous employers with dates of employment. Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Learn to use the smartphone or tablet you recently acquired. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products. Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

The Science of Climate Change

We welcome Michelle Nichols of The Adler Planetarium in celebration of Earth Day.
The concept of climate change is a hot topic these days. Depending on which side you listen to, it either doesn’t exist or the consequences will be catastrophic. Putting politics aside, we will focus on the scientific evidence. What does science say is happening? Where does the data come from?
What might be in our future?
