Piratepalooza!

Ahoy, mateys! Your library is getting in the spirit of Talk Like a Pirate Day! Join Youth Services for a pirate party of plenty as we gobble pirate snacks, play pirate games, and take photos in our pirate photo station. No registration is necessary for this event.

The Friends of the Library Present Author Joanne Zienty

Join us as we kick off National Friends of the Library Week with an appearance by Soon to Be Famous Illinois Author contest winner, Joanne Zienty as she talks about her writing career, the publishing industry and her award winning novel The Things We Save. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing with a portion of the cost being donated to the Friends by Ms. Zienty. All ages are welcome. If you have ever dreamed of having your book published, this is an event you should not miss!
