Key to Life - CANCELED

Komen Chicago will present their Key to Life program. Attendees will learn about breast health and Komen Chicago’s efforts to end breast cancer, the primary message of the program is that mammograms are critical and Early Detection is Key! Participants will make key chains that serve as a visual reminder for women to get regular mammograms.

Yummy Preschool Stories and Songs

Rumble, grumble…listen to those hungry bellies. We'll use fun songs, rhymes, stories, vocal play, instrument play, and focused listening activities to explore the theme of food, food, food. So get your musical appetite ready!

Pat Larson from the Kindermusik studio at 137 N. Oak Park Avenue, Room 107 will lead this program! Ms. Pat has been teaching children's music and movement classes for six years. She has a degree in music and works professionally as an organist and church choir director.

Totally Untidy Toddlers

For 6 months - 3 years. Our popular baby/toddler program is back! Squish and smush your way to the benefits of messy play with us! Edible goo, rainbow spaghetti, and lots of other sensory experiences will be available. Come dressed for mess! A parent or caregiver must stay with the child for the program. Registration is required.

Rising Readers Storytime

4:00pm to 5:00pm
Ages 5 and up. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.
Please register at 708.795.8000 ex 3088, on our website, or in person at the Youth Services desk. Sign up begins 30 days before event. Storytime enrollment registers you for the whole six week session. Holidays may interfere with some dates.
