A Taste of La Hispanidad

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a taste of traditional Hispanic beverages that have popularized the Hispanic food market today. Nutrition graduate students from Dominican University will share the history behind the wonderful and tasteful spices that are used to make Mexican beverages. Come join our discussion and have a taste of La Hispanidad. In addition, you will receive recipes and there will be a drawing for a gift basket. The first ten attendees will receive a free mini jarrito de barro (artisan mug).

Totally Untidy Toddlers

Squish and smush your way to the benefits of messy play with us! Edible goo, rainbow spaghetti, and lots of other sensory experiences will be available for the fun. An adult must accompany the toddler. Come dressed for mess.

Healthy Reasons for this Holiday Season

Are you hungry for change this holiday season? Well, if so now is the time to think healthy, eat healthy, and be healthy. Tis the season to be mindful fa la la la la what’s on your plate? Dominican Graduate students will discuss helpful tips how to cut the calories down during the holiday season, how to be mindful about portion size, and how to modify your favorite holiday dishes with healthy options.Food samples will be provided and prizes will be given away.
