Spring Tea Party

Ages 4 to 10.
Don your dressy best, boys and girls! Sip tea and celebrate spring with your grown-up as you make crafts, enjoy snacks, and hear stories for our 8th annual tea party.

Space is limited. Please register at 708.795.8000 ex 3088, on our website, or in person at the Youth Services desk. Sign up begins 30 days before event.

Know Your Rights

March 28th, 2017,
7:00pm to 8:30pm
Deanne Medina of Community Activism Law Alliance (CALA) will provide free information regarding immigrants' rights. We will have a Spanish speaking interpreter available.
CALA’s Know Your Rights Presentation will discuss:
*What to do and say when in contact with immigration and police officers
*Updates about changes to immigration law and policies
*How to prepare “emergency kits” to help families who may be at risk for detention or deportation make appropriate plans.

Middle School Volunteers

2:00pm to 4:00pm
* Please be aware that due to high demand in late February/ early March, our regular drop in style volunteering changes to mandatory registration. Only 15 volunteers will be accepted for each of our high volume dates February 21st-March 17th. Register here or with a Youth Services staff member in person or by phone at 708.795.8000 ex 3088. If you cannot make a session you’ve registered for, please contact us to cancel so someone else can take your slot.
