For Teens

Saturday Matinees

September 27th, 2014, 12:00pm to 3:00pm
You've all heard people say "the book was better..." Find out for yourself! As we feature a different book-made-into-a-movie each month. Read the book. Watch the movie. Discuss both! And don't worry; we'll bring the popcorn!

Movies will begin at noon. If you've read the novel, feel free to stay after to discuss the book and film!

Schedule of Book/Films:
Sept: Divergent – Veronica Roth
Oct: The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
Nov: Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist – Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

John Hughes Review

August 16th, 2014, 12:00pm to 2:00pm
A lot can be said about the 1980’s but you can’t say much about them without mentioning John Hughes. He directed classics like Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, and Weird Science. If you haven’t seen them you’ve been missing out. If you already have, get ready for a pleasant throwback. Titles TBA
