- General Volunteering for adults 18 years or older
If you're interested in helping with basic tasks like making game kits, shelf reading, light cleaning, and more.
- Adult Literacy & English as a Second Language (ESL) for adults 18 years or older
If you're interested in helping to lead ESL conversation classes or ESL book groups. If you're not all that social, consider helping to prepare learning materials or write book reviews on short fiction from the literacy collection. Experience is not necessary and training is available. Having 4 or more years of experience with learning a foreign language helps, yet there's no need to be fluent in that language. Volunteer hours are available in one hour increments (or more) on Saturdays between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Computer Tutoring for Small Groups for adults 18 years or older
If you're interested in teaching basic computer skills to small groups of adults and seniors. We currently have classes scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 and Thursday mornings from 10:30-12:00. You may elect to teach as many or as few classes as you would like.
- Community Service Opportunities
If you are 18 or older and looking to complete hours for court-ordered community service. Please note: it is possible to complete a maximum of 2 hours per day and 8 hours per week. Please consider this and your completion date with the court before contacting us.
