We are looking for two high school age teens to serve as the Teen Advisory Committee for the Friends of the Berwyn Library (FOBL)! The Teen Advisory Committee members will serve a one-year term from July 2022 through June 2023.

- Add to your pool of references for jobs and other opportunities
What FOBL Teen Advisors Do
- Attend and being actively involved in at least 9 out of 12 Friends of the Berwyn Library meetings
- Complete at least 40 hours of service in addition to the meetings – this can include but is not limited to:
- Helping the library at community events
- Helping the library at library events
- Maintaining and updating the library’s Story Walk
- Assisting with the Friends of the Berwyn Library book sale

How to Become a FOBL Teen Advisor

- Bilingual skills preferred
- Send a one to two page letter explaining why you want to join, and a resume or other document outlining your academic, extra-curricular, and work history (if any)
- Application materials are due Friday, May 20th and must be sent to Hannah Rapp (hrapp@berwynlibrary.org) or dropped off at the Central Desk on the first floor of the library
