Adults who are residents of Berwyn and have court ordered community service hours to complete can apply to complete some or all hours at the library. Court Ordered Volunteers can work a max of 12 hours per week for 2-4 hour shifts per day. The library is not obligated to provide any or all of the community service hours needed. If the Library does not have any suitable work, it reserves the right to deny applicants from fulfilling hours at the Library. If a Court Ordered Volunteer is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, the Library reserves the right to terminate their volunteer services. Any community services hours already completed, however, will be honored by the Library.
